and an ironic bitch at that. at the end of the day, many bad cops are going to be convicted of assault — or god forbid, murder — because of derek chauvin. because in this event, there was a third party present — the crowd. and the crowd of randoms all agreed that something bad was happening, and the policeman should get up off floyd’s neck. but interfering with a policeman in their pursuit of justice is a crime in and of itself. i don’t think that will be so true in the future.

people just like the ones surrounding chauvin will find themselves in the same situation at some time in the future. and i do believe MOST of them will be able to do the right thing, having seen what happens when they refrain. hard lesson learned, but we can get some bad folks off the streets. and we can thank chauvin for that. not just the murder, but also the shit-eating good ole white boy smirk, as he saw himself as the center of attention, photographed the entire time, and not a clue that it won’t work out right for him. always had. he mistakenly thought always would.

and free therapy ought to be available to the witnesses.
