short note about stuff: i wish someone with contacts in the media would contact some of them and get them to compare and contrast (remember those terrible english papers?) the 2 news stories…the tragedy at alec balwin’s RUST and the fact that someone in japan attacked strangers on a train — with a SWORD — and no deaths. if he had gone after them with an AK-27 or whatever those things are called. headline would be very different. would be “dozens slaughtered on train, hundreds injured.” USA so dumb, sometimes.

SO, HERE’S SOME STUFF I LEARNED….

my computerkept powering down. seemed like a keyboard kinda problem. got new logitech. problem keeps appearing. and then i realized! I WAS THE PROBLEM. because i am left-handed.

and on the upper right hand side of the keyboard there is an area about as big — say — as a thumb. upper left, where i always picked it up, not so much. there is not a single button on the right on the thumb spot. on the other side, no space.

added to list of left handed-shame. e.g. “left-handed compliment.” see how many you can remember!

ANOTHER THOUGHT

i do not know a single person who has not had shot or not searching for appointment. and yet, and yet — there are tens of thousands of them. so i am happy in my bubble, but hate that everyone isn’t in it. gov of texas letting full attendance (40K) for ranger event — but only 12K showed up. so not everyone in texas is an idiot!

ok, this is gonna sound strange, but i am exhausted after just 2o minutes of searching the CBS SUNDAY MORNING site. i just want a link or an email address to tell them to get some home bound intern to turn on the closed captions and then report back. every 3rd or 4th word had a problem. typos, left out words, etc. i could proof it — and would for free if they would show me how.

for a quick seminar on closed captioning (cc) go to ANY segment of this week’s CBS SUNDAY MORNING. i would assume ANY week would do, but i am stone cold sure about this week. (11–22–20) and btw, the segment on food was terrifying.
